Cernunnos by Shaneesja Cernunnos by Shaneesja
This is the Cernunnos's bust that I've received as gift for my birthday, from my husband and my best friends Miriam and Mattia, Riri, Chris.

I made this photo in my garden. Hope you like it!

I was thinking of finding some very small representation of cernunnos for a personal altar, along with morrighan, epona, cuchulainn, and possibly Lugh as well. Been meaning to build one for several years but have never had the money to do so.
figures about a foot in height seem a good size. anything larger becomes too difficult.

You may be interested to know that this artist also has amazing Morrighan and Epona pieces, in addition to two versions of the Cernunnos (this bust, and a full standing figure). Sadly, none of them are tiny like you want -- but if you ever plan a larger altar, you really can't do better.

And I just found out you don't have to order them from Britain anymore, a company has licensed them from Neil and is selling them to US shops. I found them here:

That page has the Morrighan, the Danu and both versions of the Cernunnos. Here's a pic of the Epona:

You can try to find something on abaxion.com
There's a very big choice for statues :)
Here there is a cernunnos statue [link]

the smaller is 4 inch.
Try, maybe you will find something for your altar!

is this the horned one? no wonder the christians were afraid i always saw the horned god being kind and gentle with and old beard not creepy and sneering

The Horned One is gentle whit who deserve kindness. But is also fierce and merciless with who deserve no mercy.
This is the big difference between christianity and paganism. Christian God is "always" good, and need an evil opposite-party that seduce and persuade people to act bad things.
Paganism don't need an evil opposite, Pagan Gods have both traits, kindness and wickedness are faces of the same coin.
Cernunnos is not creepy. Is the wildness rapresentation of nature. And nature is not only good.

My god that is beautiful!

Cernunnos is a favorite deity of mine (though it feels wrong to speak of him like some sort collectible)

I'm so jealous, lol, he's so lifelike and intricatley detailed. The photo especially in fantastic. (the earthy background was the perfect touch)

I'm off to look up Mr. Sims now

Unfortunately, mi last name begins with Gar, not Cer or ker.
My heritage isn't celtic.
In Sicily, however, there was Norse invasions, so probably my heritage is Norse (I really hope so).

Actually, anthropologists and archeologists alike agree that the Celts originally migrated from northern Italy. As for me, I am all Celtic and Teutonic.
